Kang In-duk

Former Unification Minister of Korea, director of the Institute for East Asian Studies, and a South Korean Member of the South-North Coodinating Committee, he has an M.A. in Asian Politics from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and a Ph.D. in Politics from Kyonghee University. Author of "Communism and the United Front," "An Outline of Communism," and others.

 

Kim Tae-seo

Director of the Institute for East Asian Studies and a specialist in inter-Korean affairs, has an M.A. in Public Administration from Chung-ang University. Formerly director of the Institute for Studies of South-North Korean Affairs, a research fellow at the Sejong Institute in Seoul, and director of the Naewoe Press. His Major works include: The 30-Year History of North Korea, A Way to National Unification through Prevailing over Communism, and North Korean Politics and Society.

 

Kim Sung-han

A professor at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, he is also teaching at Korea University. A former research fellow at the Institute of Social Science and an expert advisor to the Prime Minister's Committee for Globalization, he has an M.A. and B.A. from Korea University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Texas at Austin. A specialist in U.S. foreign policy and international security, and he has written many articles, including "The ROK-US-DPRK Trilateral Relationship," "U.S. Policy Toward the Korean Peninsula and Korea-U.S. Relations," and "Security Policy of Korea: Between Realpolitik and Innenpolitik."

 

Yoon Hong-suk

Program Director of the Agricultural R&D Promotion Center and Senior Fellow of Korea Rural Economic Institute. Formerly, Head of the Office of Planning and Evaluation, Agricultural R&D Promotion. He has a B.S. in Agronomy and M.A. in Economics from Seoul National University, and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University. The author of Agricultural Technology Cooperation between South and North Rural Economic Institute, "Food Situation and Prospects of North Korean Agriculture," "Food Situation and Agricultural Reform in North Korea," and others.

 

Kwon Tae-jin

A former North Korean senior colonel, he defected to South Korea in 1995. He graduated Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies, then entered the North Korean Army. He worked for the external affairs bureau of the People's Army and Yung-seung Trading Company, under the umbrella of the People's Armed Forces. Currently, he is a research fellow at the Institute for Unification Policy, and the director general of the Association of the North Korean Defectors.

 

Kim Woon-keun

Research Director of the Research Center for North Korea Agriculture, Korea Rural Economic Institute. Formerly a Senior Fellow of the same institution. He has M.A. and Ph.D. in Agriculture Policy from Korea University. His major works include Agriculture and Forestry in North Korea, "Evaluation of Agricultural Productivity in North Korea," "Food Situation and Agriculture Reform in North Korea."
