Chang Kong-ja

A professor of Political Science and International Relations at Chungbuk National University, she received her B.A. and M.A. from Ewha Woman's University and Ph.D. in Chinese Politics from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan. Formerly a professor of the Chinese Culture University, she is the author of Modern Chinese Politics. Her major articles include "China's Reunification Policies and the Taiwanese Response," "Party Functions under the Reform Policy of China.""

 

Lee Won-deog

Professor at Kookmin University and formerly a research fellow at Sejong Institute, he holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in International Politics and Japanese Studies from the University of Tokyo. He is the author of Japan' Postwar Diplomacy and South Korea-Japan Normalization and a co-author of The Issues of South Korea-Japan Relations in the Post-Cold War Era, and wrote "Perception of History and Korea-Japan Relations."

 

Ko Jae-nam

A professor at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, he holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Hanyang University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. His area of specialization is Russian politics and Russia-Korea relations. He is the author of Anatomy of Ethnic Conflict in the Former Soviet Union, and he also wrote "The Direction of New Government's Foreign Policy toward Russia," "The Six-party Declaration and Russian Foreign Policy," among others.

 

Kim Hyung-ki

Currently, Assistant Minister for Unification Policy Planning, the Ministry of Unification (MOU) of South Korea and devoted inter-Korean talks and issues for more than 20 years at MOU. He holds a B.A. in Diplomacy from Seoul National University. Formerly, he was the Secretary-General of the Secretariat for Intra-Korean Dialogue.

 

Hong Soon-jick

Hong Soon-jick is a research fellow at the Center for the Reunified Korean Economy of Hyundai Research Institute. He has worked for many years at the institute, specifically in currency finance and North Korean economy. He holds an M.A. in Economic Policy from Chungang University, and has written many articles, including "North Korea's Industrial Management System," and "South-North Economic Cooperation: Current Status and Future Prospects."

 

Jo Eun-ho

Currently, Jo Eun-ho is the Deputy Director of the North Korean Department of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). Formerly a manager of the KOTRA Nagoya Branch Office in Japan, he was in charge of the North Korea desk at KOTRA for 11 years. He holds a B.A. in Public Administration from Kangwon National University and an M.A. in International Economics from Yonsei University. He wrote A Handbook of the Rajin-Sonbong Free Economic and Trade Zone and other articles, including "Economic Relations Between North Korea and Japan: Trends and Features."
